An earth quake estimating 5.6 on the Richter Scale shook Peru on Friday.
The earthquake 169 km north of Barranca at around 9:26 pm (UTC). The earthquake was arranged at a profundity of 99 km, as per the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
No wave cautioning has been issued and no losses or harm to property has been accounted for up until now.
Peru is arranged on the ‘Ring of Fire’, a zone in the bowl of the Pacific Ocean which is powerless against regular quakes and volcanic emissions.
