100 ft tall National Flag at Secunderabad Railway Station

Secunderabad Railway Station on Friday turned into the principal Railway station under the South Central Railway (SCR) to lift an enormous Tricolor National flag on a 100 feet tall shaft at its principle entrance.

The banner is an endeavor by Secunderabad Division to enhance the soul of patriotism and ingrain a feeling of pride among the travelers.

“Indian Railway has taken an activity to build up the A-1 classification Railway Stations (based on traveler income). The primary intention is to revive the soul of patriotism. Railroad Station is where a colossal number of travelers from various states interface. South Central Railway has started this activity from the Secunderabad Railway station,” said Rakesh, CPRO , South Central Railway.

The Railway Board had guided National Flags to be lifted at 75 ‘A1’ classification Railway Stations following up on which SCR has stepped up with regards to raise the National Flag at other 4 ‘A1’ classification Railway Stations – Kacheguda, Hyderabad, Vijaywada and Tirupati.
