Rahul Dravid has back the concept of cricket becoming a part of the Olympic Games.

There had been talks of creating the T20 format of cricket as part of the Olympics with an ICC survey back in 2018 even suggesting that 87 percent of the lovers wanted cricket to be a part of the quadrennial video games.

Rahul Dravid feels that introducing the T20 layout in The Olympics will only help the game.

“I suppose it will be great for the game if the T20 format can emerge as an Olympic sport due to the fact there are 75 (T20 countries); cricket is being played in so many countries.

“Obviously, it comes with its demanding situations, no longer least of all cricket’s a sport that calls for positive varieties of centers for it to be successful,” Dravid informed espncricinfo.Com. “As we’ve got simply visible, the achievement of the IPL turned into a massive element because of the first-class of wickets that have been put out for the groups…If you could get the centers in the vicinity, then why now not.
