PM Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS summit here on Thursday (neighborhood time).
The two pioneers, who are meeting for the third time in under four months, held converses with advance companionship amongst India and China.
A tweet posted by the Prime Minister’s Office perused, “Facilitating India-China kinship. PM @narendramodi and President Xi Jinping hold chats on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in South Africa.”
While Prime Minister Modi said that the reciprocal relations between the two Asian mammoths would be founded on shared vision and solid relationship, President Xi consented to participate and work with India to look for direction.
On a related note, Prime Minister Modi, who touched base in Johannesburg on Wednesday for the BRICS Summit, likewise met Argentinean President Mauricio Macri on Thursday.
The tenth BRICS Summit, as a development ever of, was held under the subject “BRICS in Africa: Collaboration for Inclusive Growth and Shared Prosperity in the fourth Industrial Revolution”.
The three-day summit started yesterday with the BRICS Business Forum Meet.
