Kerala Floods: Center approvals Rs 80 crore

The central mhas authorized Rs. 80 crore to Kerala for the alleviation and restoration of individuals in the surge influenced zones of the state.

The central government team headed by Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju and Union Tourism Minister Alphons Kannanthanam on Saturday went to the surge influenced regions of Kottayam and Alappuzha.

“The legislature had authorized guide of Rs. 80 crore yesterday,” the appointment told the correspondents.
