Indian wrestler Mansi Ahlawat won the silver award in the progressing Junior Asian Wrestling Championship here on Friday.
Ahlawat, who was overwhelming her rivals all through the competition, lost to Japan’s Akei Hanai 0-10 in the last of the 57 kg class session.
Another Indian wrestler, Swati Shinde, sacked a bronze decoration in 53 kg division by overcoming Thailand’s Duangnapa Boonyasu 10-0 in the play-off.
Shinde had edged past Uzbekistan’s Shakhodat Djullibaeva in the quarter-last conflict however she lost to China’s Yuhong Zhong 0-6 in the semi-last session.
Prior, India’s Divya Kakran had secured silver in the 68 kg classification while Reena and Karuna earned two bronze awards for the nation in the 55 and 76 kg classification, individually.
