A person has been arrested in the incident of racial abuse towards Indian fans at the Birmingham stadium during the fifth Test between India and England
Birmingham police said on Saturday that a 32-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.He is being interrogated. He was arrested for racially aggravated misconduct in a public place.

The relevant incident took place on the fourth day of the Edgbaston Test. Some England fans in the stadium were misbehaving with the Indian fans.
The outside world came to know about this when some of the Indian fans in the stadium shared their bad experience with England fans on social media.
