Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 burning issue hasn’t cooled down yet and now a Reliance Jio’s Lyf phone has been reported to have burst into flames.
A Twitter user, Tariq Sadiq, posted photos of a burned Lyf phone on the microblogging website. Sadiq said that the phone “exploded and burst into flames”. The photos show a phone’s rear panel, whatever remains of it, and Lyf branding is also visible. While the phone’s model is not yet known, the company quickly responded to Sadiq’s complaint and said that it is investigating the issue.
“We are concerned about the incident reported in social media and are taking the matter seriously. We are assessing the cause and will conduct a thorough investigation in the matter. Customer safety is paramount to us and, based on our findings, we will take appropriate action,” a Lyf spokesperson told India Today Tech.
