2 dead and 23 harmed in Philippines blast

Somewhere around two individuals were killed and 23 others harmed in a blast outside a shopping center in Cotabato city on Monday.

CNN cited Cotabato City Police representative Christopher Lee as saying, “There was a speculated IED blast outside the South Seas Mall in Cotabato City on the island of Mindanao.”

The harmed individuals have been taken to nearby healing centers, said a representative for the Office of Civil Defense in General Santos City, Minda Morante.
