1968 plane crash casualty’s body found in H-P icy mass

Following a traverse of 50 years, the body of a 1968 Indian Air Force (IAF) plane crash casualty was found in Himachal Pradesh’s Dhaka ice sheet base camp. A mountaineering undertaking recuperated the body on July 1.

On 7 February 1968, an air ship A 12 of the Indian Air Force was flying from Chandigarh to Leh with 102 faculty on load up. Because of terrible climate, the pilot chose to turn back while moving toward Leh.
